One customer who reviewed the Acer 240 said that it was well made. A. Boulton said on Amazon “Take a white-grey solid background for the layer beneath” although they only gave the product a rating of 1 stars.

Good Picture Quality

One Acer 240 reviewer concluded that this projector was not easy to use. A. Boulton mentioned three years ago “There is no seperate control for brightness and backlight intensity, so I tried using the brightness control to try” in their Acer 240 review.

Does Not Support Wi-Fi

The Acer 240 does not support wi-Fi, although it is worth noting that most of the other projectors of a comparable spec and age to the 240 also do not support wi-Fi.

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

With a projector brightness of only 2,700 ANSI lumens, the Acer 240 has one of the dimmer projector brightnesss amongst 10000:1 contrast ratio data projectors of this age. Comparable spec projectors that came out around the same time as the 240 have projector brightnesss of between 300 ANSI lumens and 12,000 ANSI lumens.

Other 2,700 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors currently available that you might want to look at include because of it's better review score, the EB-S17[pl_2017452_price], the PowerLite 575W[pl_2175975_price], or the EB-X20[pl_2017453_price] all from Epson.
