A HDD stores the information on magnetic disks. HDD drives are cheap, but they are slower than Flash and SSD bases storage systems.

There are a number of alternative HDD computers currently available which you might also want to consider including the Fujitsu Esprimo E920 which is cheaper.

If the storage speed of this computer is not fast enough for you then you might want to look at the HP ProDesk 600 G2 Mini (SSD), or the DELL 7040 (SSD) which is also cheaper.
