Difficult to Use

Two Samsung S19D300 owners who purchased this PC monitor said that it was not easy to use. Two years ago Wayne Booth said “* No tilt, swivel or height control” in his review of this PC monitor. Wayne Booth also said “This makes 'positive interactions' when adjusting the controls extremely difficult” in his review.

One customer who reviewed it reckoned that it was not easy to setup. P J Lewis said “Experienced difficulty in setting up picture quality”. Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker(s)

The S19D300 does not have a built-in speaker(s). Most of the other LCD screens that have been on the market for around the same time as this PC screen also do not have a built-in speaker(s).

We compared all the other PC monitors which also have a built-in speaker(s) to this PC display and we think the AOC E975SWDA ($102.10), the HKC 1976A, or the Hannspree HE196APB which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

The most display resolution of the S19D300 is 1366 x 768 pixels. That's 20% less display resolution than a 1280 x 1024 pixels flatpanel monitor, which is the most frequently found display resolution. The worst display resolution of all PC monitors of a similar age and type to this PC display is 1024 x 768 pixels and the best is 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Very Narrow Viewing Angle, Vertical

With a viewing angle, vertical of only 65 degrees, the S19D300 has a fairly narrow viewing angle, vertical compared to most of the other small monitors that were released more than a year ago. Comparable spec PC screens that were launched around the same time as this PC screen have viewing angles, vertical of between 50° and 180°, and the average viewing angle, vertical is 130°.
