Based on 125 expert and user reviews, NEC has excellent reviews for its LCD screens. NEC also has excellent reviews specifically within its medium monitors range.

LED Display Type

This LCD screen has an LED display type, which is the most frequently found display type on flatpanel monitors of a comparable age and spec to it.

We think you might also be interested in some of the other PC displays that have an LED Display currently available including the Asus VS239 ($134.32), or the iiyama GE2488HS which has better reviews; or the LG 22MP55 which is cheaper.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The AccuSync AS222 has a built-in speaker, which is unusual. Most of the other medium monitors that have been around for more than two years do not have a built-in speaker.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the other PC monitors with a built-in speaker currently available including because of it's better review score, the Asus VK228H ($99.95), or the Viewsonic VG2239M ($149.89).

We compared all the other PC monitors which also have a built-in speaker to this PC display and we think the iiyama B2483HS is also worth considering.
