6 Reasons For

Good Brand

LG is one of the better rated flatpanel monitor manufacturers according to average reviews from users and experts, and LG also has good reviews for its medium monitors.

LED Display Type

This flatpanel monitor has an LED display type, which is the most frequently found display type on PC screens of this type and age.

We compared this PC display to all the other PC monitors that have an LED Display and we think the AOC e2250Swdnk, and the NEC MultiSync EA244 ($1,049.00) which has better reviews is also worth considering.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The LG E2210 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other medium monitors that have been available for a comparable time to the E2210 do not have a built-in speaker.

Chart Edit

Supports One Placement

The LG E2210 has a greater number of placements than most PC screens of a comparable age and type to it. This flatpanel monitor supports a Horizontal placement, which is the most frequently supported placement supported by PC displays of a comparable age and spec to the E2210.

Chart Edit

Light

The weights of comparable spec flatpanel monitors that were released around the same time as the E2210 range from 3g to 39kg, and the average weight is 4.9kg. With a weight of only 3.1 kilograms, the LG E2210 is fairly light compared to most of the other PC displays of this type and age.

Chart Edit

Narrow

The LG E2210 is fairly narrow (only 507 millimeters) compared to most of the other PC displays that were released around the same time as the E2210. Across all the medium monitors that were released around the same time as the E2210 the widths range from 52mm to 6,500mm.

It may also be worth considering one of the other 507mm wide PC displays currently available including because of it's better review score, the HP ZR22w, or the NEC EA224WMi ($203.99).

PC screens with a wider width that might also be worth looking at include the Philips 221B3LPC (507mm).

5 Reasons Against

Not 3D Compatible

The LG E2210 is not 3D compatible, although keep in mind that most of the other medium monitors that came out more than two years ago are also not 3D compatible.

PC screens which are 3D compatible that might also be worth considering include the AOC d2757Ph, or the Asus VG236.

Does Not Have a Built-In Camera

Does Not Have an Integrated Card Reader

The LG E2210 does not have an integrated card reader, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other comparable spec LCD screens that were released around the same time as the E2210 also do not have an integrated card reader.

We think you might also be interested in alternative PC screens which also have an integrated card reader including the U2413 ($429.99), or the U2713H both from DELL or the Acer DA220 which also has a higher rating.
