3 Other reasons to consider the iiyama E1980SD

Released Over Three Years Ago

This LCD screen was released over three years ago.

LCD Display Type

The E1980SD has an LCD display type which is better than most small monitors that have been on the market for around the same time as it. Most small monitors that are a similar age to it have an LED display type.

We compared all the other PC screens that have an LCD Display to this LCD screen and we think a cheaper LCD screen such as the Philips 200V4 ($209.89) or you might consider a better rated LCD screen such as the HP Compaq LA1905wg ($79.00), and the Acer V196Lbmd ($133.99) are also worth considering.

If the display type of this flatpanel monitor is too bad for you then you might want to consider the HP W1972a (LED), the Neovo C-17 (LED), or the Acer 176L (LED) which is also higher rated.

Average Width

With a width of 411 millimeters, the iiyama E1980SD has a relatively average width compared to most of the other LCD screens of this type and age.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative 411mm wide PC displays currently available including the iiyama B1980SD which has better reviews.

If you don't mind having a wider width then you might want to consider the LG E1910PM-GN (409mm).

Unable to do any height adjustment on this monitor, we had to purchase a stand for it to sit on in order to get the viewing height right, otherwise a good clear monitor.
