There are a number of alternative flatpanel monitors with a built-in speaker currently available which you might also want to look at including cheaper PC screens such as the Lenovo T2224.

It is worth also looking at alternative flatpanel monitors which also have a built-in speaker including the HP ProDisplay P202 20-inch Monitor Head Only ($105.99), or the Hanns.G HS225.
