Quite Bright Display Brightness
Flatpanel monitors of a similar age and spec to the ap5000 have display brightness of between 180 cd/m² and 450 cd/m². We compared this LCD screen to all the other PC screens with a built-in speaker and we think the Asus VW199TL or the Asus VW199NR are also worth considering.
Not 3D Compatible
The HP ap5000 is not 3D compatible. Most of the other PC monitors of this age and type are also not 3D compatible.

We think you might also be interested in some of the other flatpanel monitors that have an LCD Display currently available including the Acer V196Lbmd, or the HP L1940T which has better reviews.
