5 Reasons For

Good Brand

Medium monitors manufactured by Acer have good reviews on average compared to other brands. We also checked the reviews for all PC monitors (not just medium monitors) and found that Acer also has good reviews across its entire range.

LED Display Type

This flatpanel monitor has an LED display type, which is the most commonly found display type on comparable spec flatpanel monitors that have been available for a similar time to it.

There are a number of alternative PC displays that have an LED Display currently available that you might also want to consider including cheaper PC monitors such as the DELL E2314H, or the Philips 247E6QDAD/75.

Has a Built-In Speaker

Like most of the other flatpanel monitors that are a similar age to the B246HQL, the Acer B246HQL has a built-in speaker.

We compared this PC monitor to all the other PC displays with a built-in speaker and we think because of it's better review score, the Benq BL2420Z, the Asus VP239H ($129.99), and the Samsung S24E650PL ($191.00) is also worth considering.

Has Three Cables Included

The number of cables included found on the B246HQL is more than most PC monitors of a similar spec and age to it. This flatpanel monitor has an AC cable included, which is the most commonly found cable included found on medium monitors that have been on the market for around the same time as the B246HQL. The cables included "DVI" and "VGA" are also found on this Acer LCD screen.

5 Reasons Against

Does Not Have a Built-In Camera

Most PC displays of this spec and age do not have a built-in camera. The B246HQL is no exception to this as it too does not have a built-in camera.

Alternative PC screens which also have a built-in camera that you might want to consider include the Asus VK248H ($183.99), or the Viewsonic VG2437 ($199.02) which also has a higher rating.
