Several Toshiba Z30 owners who reviewed the Toshiba Z30 concluded that it was lightweight. Pcmag.com wrote in their review on PC Mag “The Toshiba Portege Z30-A1301 ($1,279 direct) is the latest in Toshiba's long line of highly regarded business ultrabooks, distinguished by a lightweight yet strong magnesium-alloy chassis” and rated it 4 stars. Notebookcheck.net gave the product a score of 4 stars and said last year “Not enough pixels! Toshiba's Z30-B-100 is a lightweight subnotebook that wants to signalize mobility”. Expert website Laptopmedia.com said “This lightweight, compact and durable business companion has some intriguing qualities which will appeal to most of the t” in their review of this laptop.

A number of Toshiba Z30 reviewers agreed that it was thin. Expert website Computershopper.com mentioned “This business-oriented ultrabook is well-built, thin, light” in their review of the Toshiba Z30. Trustedreviews.com mentioned “That gets you the slim profile and light body of an Ultrabook.”.
