The Flex 10 has an HDD storage medium which is better than the SSD storage medium found on most portable PCs that were launched more than two years ago. HDD is a traditional storage drive which stores the information on magnetic disks. HDD drives are slower than other forms of storage such as solid state drives (SSD) and flash drives.
An HDD storage medium is actually the worst storage medium across all 2 in 1 laptops that were released around the same time as the Flex 10.
The best storage medium amongst comparable types of notebook PC is SSD.
We think you might also be interested in some of the other laptops that have an HDD storage media currently available including cheaper laptops such as the Flex 15, or the Yoga both from Lenovo.
If the storage medium of this notebook PC is too bad for you then you might want to look at the Toshiba Satellite U920t (SSD), or the Fujitsu Stylistic Q702 (SSD) which is also cheaper.
