The MHS-TS22 has an LCD display which is better than the OLED display found on most digital cameras that have been on the market for more than two years. LCD is the most common display type used in digital cameras. LCD displays are relatively cheap to manufacture but their limitations lie in narrow viewing angles and the displays do not perform well in direct sunlight.
This digital camera's display (LCD) is in fact the worst display across all cameras that are a comparable age to the MHS-TS22.
Across comparable types of digital camera the best display is AMOLED.
