A fully featured and multi award winning 647g camera, with an Editor's Choice award from six expert review websites and 20 further awards from other expert sites. It has a built-in flash, an optical zoom of and a minimum aperture number of and does not have an image stabiliser. A number of reviews mentioned that this camera has a very good autofocus, it produces very good images and outstanding for video recording.

Looking across the entire Nikon digital camera range, the average reviews for all Nikon digital cameras are also excellent.
