Expert review site Techradar.com/au/ wrote in their review “The Panasonic Lumix FX80 offers a host of photographic features in a compact camera body” but in spite of that they gave it a rating of 3 stars. Expert review site Techmagnifier.com said “Compact and light in weight, LUMIX FX80 is suitable to carry in pocket or handbag” in their review of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX80.

Several Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX80 reviewers agreed that the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX80 was thin.
