11 Reasons For

Leica Has Good Camera Reviews

We calculated the average reviews for all Leica cameras and also specifically for Leica MILC cameras and found that in both cases Leica had good reviews.

CCD Sensor Type

The Leica M9-P has a better sensor type than most MILC cameras that were released more than two years ago. This camera has a CCD sensor type, whereas most MILC cameras that were launched around the same time as it have a MOS sensor type. CCD sensors produce high quality, low-noise images but consume a lot more power than CMOS sensors. CCD is the most common image sensor type used in digital cameras.

This digital camera's sensor type (CCD) is in fact the best sensor type across all cameras of this spec and age.

Across comparable types of digital camera the worst sensor type is MOS.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the other digital cameras that have a CCD sensor currently available including because of it's better review score, the Leica M Monochrom[plb_1983444_price].
