Nice Design

Two owners who purchased it wrote that it had a good case. G. Avery wrote on Amazon three years ago “I didn't test it under water - the casing feels highly flimsy”.

Poor Product Quality

Seven customers who reviewed this digital camera said that it was not good quality. Three years ago Mr Baz said “This has a distinct "airfix" feel to it- Very poor photo quality, as if you've smeared marmalade over the lens” in his review of the HP c150w. Mr Baz also said “The photo quality being dead honest wasn't a patch on the old ancient 4mp trust camera I had years ago” in his review. Warmanns wrote “Horrible quality camera” in their review of this digital camera.

Not Robust

Average Waterproof Up to

The HP c150w has a fairly small display diagonal (only 1.8 inches) compared to most of the other cameras of a similar type and age to this camera.

We think you might also be interested in some of the other 1.8" screen cameras currently available including because of it's better review score, the Vivitar V5119, or the Nikon Coolpix 8800.

Cameras with a larger display diagonal that might be worth considering include the easypix W1024 (2.4"), or the Praktica 5000WP (2.5") which also has a higher rating.

Digital cameras of a similar age and type to this digital camera have optical zooms of between 1x and 50x. The HP c150w has a quite small optical zoom (only 1 times zoom factor) compared to most of the other digital cameras of this age and type.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the alternative 1x optical zoom cameras currently available including because of it's better review score, the Trevi Go 2200 HD, the Ingo VIC002O, or the Rollei Sportsline 60.

If this camera optical zoom is too small for you then you might want to look at the X-Q1 ($220.00) (4x), or the XQ2 (4x) both from Fujifilm which also has a higher rating.
