Why Has it Scored 74?

a number of reviews mentioned that it has very good expert reviews and very good user reviews with an average overall rating of 90%, based on 113 reviews. This digital camera has received 23 awards including an "Editor's Choice" award from Digitaltrends.com plus five other sites and a "Recommended" award from Techradar plus four other sites.
It is over 2 years old and it is likely that newer cameras with better features are available. However this Fujifilm digital camera has good reviews so it may still be worth considering.
The X100S has some good features, but is also missing a couple of features:
High maximum ISO sensitivity
Has an image stabiliser
The joy of photography
Pursuit of image quality
Exploration of new angles on photography
Quality & operability
X-Trans CMOS II sensor
Leading the way to the ultimate image quality

What is the Kagoo Score?

We calculate the Kagoo Score for each digital camera by looking at its reviews, features, popularity, age and value for money.

The Kagoo Score is an easy way to understand whether the digital camera is recommended.

The Kagoo Scores are constantly being updated. As newer, higher spec digital cameras come to market, the older digital cameras will gradually have their Kagoo Score reduced.

What is This Digital Camera Best Used For?

Having compared it with other relevant digital cameras, we have concluded that it is good for everyday photography. It is also good for landscape photography.
