Also the price of the current cameras may drop off just before the latest models are released in February. Last year most new digital cameras were released in February, with six new digital cameras released that month. The biggest month in 2019 for new camera releases was March, with 10 new cameras released that month. August was the biggest month in 2018 for new cameras, with 16 new cameras released that month.
