This video camera supports an SDXC memory card, whereas most video cameras that came out around the same time as it support an SD memory card. In addition, this camcorder support sd and sdhc and sdxc memory cards. SDXC cards are SD cards but with a much higher capacity and faster processing speeds. They have a maximum capacity of 2TB (Terabytes).
