The Panasonic HX-WA3 supports an SDXC memory card which is better than most video cameras that have been available for more than two years. Most similar spec camcorders that were released more than two years ago support an SDHC memory card. In addition, this video camera support an Eye-Fi and SD memory card. SDXC cards are SD cards but with a much higher capacity and faster processing speeds. They have a maximum capacity of 2TB (Terabytes).

This video camera's memory card type (SDXC) is in fact the best supported memory card type amongst all camcorders of a comparable age and type to the HX-WA3.

An MS Pro-HG memory card is the worst supported memory card type amongst comparable types of video camera.

SDHC cards are DS cards with a higher capacity of up to 32GB.

That's over seven times the still image resolution of the most common still image resolution of 1920 x 1080 (which is also supported by this Panasonic video camera).
