Good Product Quality

Three ION DashCam WiFi reviewers who bought it reckoned that it was good quality. Mike Nelson said in his review on Amazon “I should also say the crash "event" videos are only 240p and it only records for a mere 20 seconds! The picture quality is pretty good” but even so gave the product a score of 3 stars. Tellboy scored this camcorders 4 stars and said on Amazon a few weeks ago “With traffic stationery the quality is excellent and number plates easily visible” in their review of this camcorders. The Irish Grover mentioned on Amazon in the same month “I had not forgotten) I recorded same with MIO MiVue 518 a same time and quality was much better on the MIO” but in spite of that scored the product 2 stars.

Good Size

Several people who reviewed it reckoned that it was compact. Mike Nelson mentioned in his review of the ION DashCam WiFi in August this year “The camera is nice and compact”. This month Mrs. Bryony A. Shaw wrote on Amazon “This dashboard camera is compact and looks smart”.

One ION DashCam WiFi owner considered that the ION DashCam WiFi was tight. Robert Groom mentioned in his review of this camcorders on Amazon this month “It's long enough to run tight round the windscreen, down the door pillar” and scored the ION DashCam WiFi 4 stars.

Easy to Use

Some ION DashCam WiFi reviewers who purchased it mentioned that it was easy to use. This year Mrs. Bryony A. Shaw wrote on Amazon “It can also be powered via a standard USB cable which might be handy if you need to replace the cable” in their ION DashCam WiFi review. The Irish Grover said on Amazon in August this year “Not have PC software (the only option is to use your mobile device (via wifi) or upload your video to an unaffiliated website such as www” in their review however only scored the product 40 out of 100.

Robust

One person said in their reviews that this camcorders was reliable. A few weeks ago Mike Nelson said in his review “Seems reliable 2”.

Nice Design

One person who purchased the ION DashCam WiFi considered that it was good looking. Mike Nelson wrote a few weeks ago “It only records for a mere 20 seconds! The picture quality is pretty good and matches the performance of the average ActionCam” in his review of this camcorders.

Has an HDMI Port

ION Only Has Unexceptional Reviews for Its Camcorders

Whilst ION is one of the mediocre camcorder brands according to average reviews from experts and users, ION has ok reviews specifically for its video cameras.

Poor Connectivity

Four ION DashCam WiFi reviewers who purchased the ION DashCam WiFi concluded that it did not have gps. Mike Nelson said on Amazon in August this year “The GPS information is not stored on the image, on the image when you view it displays in the bottom right corner the date in American format YYYY/MM/DD” in his review of this camcorders. Mike Nelson also mentioned “None of these will show the GPS information and I can't find a single program on line which is compatible with the embedded GPS data (it is stored in the”. This year Mrs. Bryony A. Shaw said in their review of this camcorders on Amazon “It also doesn't display your location or speed on the video, so I'm not sure what the GPS is used for”.

One ION DashCam WiFi reviewer mentioned that it was not wifi compatible. In August this year The Irish Grover said on Amazon “Selecting HD files for wifi transfer is so slow to load the file previews on the phone for selection that it is practicably unusable” in their ION DashCam WiFi review.

One person who bought the product considered that it was not good in terms of USB connections. Mrs. Bryony A. Shaw wrote on Amazon in August “The end of the cable that plugs into the camera is not USB.” in their review of the ION DashCam WiFi.
