USB Powered

The CS720A0 is USB powered, unlike most of the other low megapixel count webcams that came out more than two years ago which are not USB powered.

There are a number of alternative USB powered webcams currently available which you might want to look at including cheaper webcams such as the Gembird A4-GWJ-800, the V7 Elite Webcam 2000, or the A4Tech PK-635.
