Good Product Quality
One Sony CMU-BR100 reviewer considered that the product was good quality. Three years ago Pocket-Lint.com said on Pocket Lint “Camera unit just didn't produce great quality visuals for the near” but in spite of that scored this webcams 3 stars.
The Sony CMU-BR100 is USB powered, which is unusual. Most of the other webcams of a similar type and age to the CMU-BR100 are not USB powered.
Has a Built-In Microphone
The CMU-BR100 has a built-in microphone, as do most of the other webcams that have been on the market for more than two years.
This webcam has a USB 2 interface, which is typical of many webcams of this age and type.
