Average Maximum Frame Rate

With a maximum frame rate of 30 frames per second, the PLCM22IR has a pretty average maximum frame rate compared to most of the other webcams that were launched around the same time as the PLCM22IR.

We compared this webcam to all the other 30fps maximum frame rate webcams and we think because of it's better review score, the Microsoft LifeCam Cinema ($42.99), the V7 Elite Webcam 2000, and the Logitech B905 is also worth considering.

If this webcam maximum frame rate is not high enough for you then you might want to consider the Gembird CAM0360U-1 (60fps), or the Konig CMP-WEBCAM3D10 (60fps) which also has a higher rating.
