A number of Samsung UE65H8000 reviewers who bought it considered that it was good at displaying high definition TV. Two years ago Cnet.co.uk wrote in their review on CNET.co.uk “The UE55H8000 is the range topper in Samsung's Full HD LED line-up this year”. Cnet.co.uk also wrote “It still sits directly below the company's wallet busting Ultra HD sets”. Expert website Techradar.com said “Then use a Full HD panel on a huge high-end TV like the UE65H8000 just seems odd” in their review.

Cnet.co.uk wrote “Supremely stylish and bursting with features” in their review of this TV and gave the product a rating of 70 out of 100.
