Good for Games

Several people who bought the Archos GamePad considered that it was good playing games on. Trustedreviews.com said in their review of the Archos GamePad on expert website Trusted Reviews “Smartphones are superb gaming devices these days.”. Cnet.co.uk wrote on expert website CNET.co.uk “The Archos GamePad is an attempt to bolt a proper gaming controller to an” in their Archos GamePad review but they rated this tablet 30 out of 100. Fairly Fast Processor Clock Speed

At 1.6 gigahertz, the Archos GamePad has a quite fast processor clock speed compared to most of the other A9 processor tablet computers that were released around the same time as the GamePad. A9 processor tablet computers that were released more than two years ago have processor clock speeds of between 1GHz and 1.8GHz.

There are a number of other 1.6GHz processor clock speed tablet computers currently available that you might also want to consider including because of it's better review score, the Yarvik Xenta 7, the Hamlet 970H2, or the Medion Lifetab E10315.

If this tablet computer processor clock speed is not fast enough for you then you might want to look at the TechniSat Mini (1.8GHz) which is also higher rated.

Tablet computers which are 3G compatible that might be worth considering include the Point of View Onyx 506 Navi, or the Hamlet 270G.

Very Small Screen Size

The GamePad has one of the smaller screen sizes (only 7 inches) amongst A9 processor tablet computers of this age. A9 processor tablet computers that have been available for more than two years have screen sizes of between 7" and 22".

Other 7" tablet computers currently available that you might want to look at include the Xenta 7, or the TAB07-151 Luna 7c both from Yarvik or the Hamlet 270 which has better reviews.

If you want a larger screen size then you might also want to consider the Mediacom Smart Pad S4 7.85 (7.85" and higher rated), the Medion LifeTab S7851 (7.85" and higher rated), or the TechniSat Mini (7.85" and higher rated).
