Aspen rated the product as excellent and wrote four years ago “It was 90 % charged, connected immediately to my home wifi and I was happily trying out the embedded apps within a few minutes” in their Apple iPad (3rd gen) review. Also four years ago Bigflat said “I use VPN with university network and it logs on to my hospital network wifi with no problems” in their Apple iPad (3rd gen) review. Busb mentioned “I decided on the base model with no 3G - I use my 32GB 4S to tether when I'm away from home that works fine over WiFi” .

Jon & Michelle said “I didn't have infinite Internet and calls on my phone I would get one that took a SIM card, as it is I just make my phone a hot spot”.
