10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been around for around the same time as the D756USTi have noise levels of between 28dB and 41dB. At only 33 decibels, the D756USTi has a quite quiet noise level compared to most of the other newly released 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors.

We think you might also be interested in some of the other 33dB noise level projectors currently available including because of it's better review score, the Benq MH530 ($479.99).
