We compared all the other projectors with a built-in speaker to this multimedia projector and we think the Sony VPL-DW125 which has better reviews is also worth considering.

There are a number of alternative data projectors which also have a built-in speaker that you might want to consider including the Hitachi CP-DX300, or the Vivitek D795WT.

Projectors that were launched around the same time as the VPL-DX140 have lamp powers in economic mode of between 170W and 7,000W, and the average lamp power in economic mode is 2,600W.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The VPL-DX140 does not support Full HD projection, although keep in mind that most of the other 2500:1 contrast ratio data projectors that were launched around the same time as the VPL-DX140 also do not support Full HD projection.

There are a number of alternative projectors which also support Full HD projection that you might want to consider including the Sony VPL-DW125.
