The highest resolution supported by the PT-VW330 is 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). That's over seven times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) multimedia projector, which is the most common resolution supported by multimedia projectors of this type and age. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this data projector. This projector also support graphics resolutions of 1152 x 870, 1280 x 960, 1280 x 768 (WXGA), 1280 x 800 (WXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+), 1440 x 900 (WXGA+), 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) and 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+) and 800 x 600 (SVGA).

A 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) graphics resolution is actually the best supported resolution amongst all data projectors that were released more than two years ago.

The worst supported resolution amongst similar types of multimedia projector is 640 x 480 (VGA).

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The Panasonic PT-VW330 does not support Full HD projection, although keep in mind that most of the other 2000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that have been on the market for more than two years also do not support Full HD projection.

There are a number of alternative data projectors which also support Full HD projection which you might want to consider including the AAXA Technologies LED Android Pico Projector ($499.00), the NEC NP-PA600X, or the Ricoh PJ X6180N which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

The PT-VW330 does not support 3D image projection, although keep in mind that most of the other projectors of a comparable type and age to the PT-VW330 also do not support 3D image projection.

Alternative multimedia projectors which also support 3D image projection that you might want to look at include the U300X, the U260W, or the U310W all from NEC which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The PT-VW330 does not support WiFi connectivity. Most of the other projectors of this spec and age also do not support WiFi connectivity.

Average Projector Brightness

The Panasonic PT-VW330 has a relatively typical projector brightness (3,000 ANSI lumens) compared to most of the other 2000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that were released around the same time as the PT-VW330.

We compared this data projector to all the other 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness projectors and we think the Hitachi CP-DH300, the Epson EB-465i, and the Canon LV-8320 which has better reviews is also worth considering.

If this projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to consider the WUX-400 (4,000 ANSI lumens and higher rated), or the WUX400ST (4,000 ANSI lumens and higher rated) both from Canon or the Epson D6155W (3,500 ANSI lumens and higher rated).
