WUXGA (1920x1200) Native Projector Resolution

The highest resolution of the PT-EW550 is WUXGA (1920x1200). That's over two times the resolution of a XGA (1024x768) data projector, which is the most common resolution.

A WUXGA (1920x1200) native projector resolution is in fact the best resolution across all 2000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that were released around the same time as the PT-EW550.

Across similar types of data projector the worst resolution is XGA (1024x768).

Quite Quiet Noise Level

At only 35 decibels, the PT-EW550 has a fairly quiet noise level compared to most of the other latest projectors. Recently released similar spec projectors have noise levels of between 28dB and 40dB, and the average noise level is 36dB.
