Supports Full HD Projection

Unlike most of the other projectors of a comparable age and spec to the PT-DW740ELS which do not support Full HD projection, the Panasonic PT-DW740ELS supports Full HD projection.

It may also be worth considering one of the other multimedia projectors which support Full HD projection currently available including the Sony VPL-DW125 which has better reviews.

Across all the projectors of this type and age the projector brightness range from 500 ANSI lumens to 16,000 ANSI lumens. The PT-DW740ELS has one of the brighter projector brightness (7,000 ANSI lumens) amongst 2500:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors of this age.

If this multimedia projector projector brightness is not bright enough for you then you might want to consider the CP-HD9320 (8,200 ANSI lumens), the CP-WX9210 (8,500 ANSI lumens), or the CP-WU9410 (8,500 ANSI lumens) all from Hitachi.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other projectors with a 3D image projection and we think the Vivitek Qumi Q2 which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.
