At 6,000 ANSI lumens, the Optoma ZU650 has a quite bright projector brightness compared to most of the other 2000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that came out around the same time as the ZU650. Multimedia projectors that have been around for around the same time as the ZU650 have projector brightness of between 2,700 ANSI lumens and 6,200 ANSI lumens.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the alternative 6,000 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors currently available including the Canon WUX6000 which has better reviews.
