Supports Full HD Projection

The Optoma WU416 supports Full HD projection, as do most of the other latest projectors.

It may also be worth considering one of the alternative projectors which support Full HD projection currently available including the P6200S, or the Z650 ($1,274.98) both from Acer or the Benq MU706 which is cheaper.

Like most of the other latest 20000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors, the Optoma WU416 supports 3D image projection.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other projectors which support 3D image projection and we think cheaper projectors such as the P6200S, and the Z650 ($1,274.98) both from Acer or the Benq MU706 is also worth considering.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The Optoma WU416 has a built-in speaker, as do most of the other new comparable spec data projectors.

Other projectors with a built-in speaker currently available which you might also want to look at include cheaper projectors such as the XJ-F210WN ($1,008.15), or the XJ-F20XN ($875.99) both from Casio or the Benq MU706.

WUXGA (1920x1200) Native Projector Resolution

The Optoma WU416 has a maximum resolution of WUXGA (1920x1200). That's over two times the resolution of a WXGA (1280x800) projector, which is the most common resolution.

This data projector's resolution (WUXGA (1920x1200)) is in fact the best resolution amongst all multimedia projectors that came out in the last year.

The worst resolution amongst similar types of data projector is SVGA (800x600).
