This projector has only been on the market for five months. Newer projectors like this one are likely to use more advanced technology.

Supports 3D Image Projection

The Optoma W341 supports 3D image projection, as do most of the other latest similar spec projectors.

There are a number of other data projectors which support 3D image projection currently available that you might also want to look at including the Viewsonic PJD7526W[plb_3627579_price] which is cheaper; or the Optoma HD28DSE[plb_3141654_price] which has better reviews.

We compared this data projector to all the other data projectors with a 3D image projection and we think the Optoma EH345[plb_3907680_price] is also worth considering.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the other projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including cheaper projectors such as the Viewsonic PJD7526W[plb_3627579_price], or the Acer P1502[plb_3878311_price].

1920 X 1200 (WUXGA) Graphics Resolution

The highest resolution supported by the Optoma W341 is 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). That's over seven times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) projector, which is the most frequently found resolution supported by new projectors. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this data projector. This projector also support graphics resolutions of 800 x 600 (SVGA), 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1280 x 768 (WXGA), 1280 x 800 (WXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA) and 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 1600 x 1200 (UXGA).

This data projector's resolution (1920 x 1200 (WUXGA)) is in fact the best supported resolution amongst all projectors that are a comparable age to the W341.

Amongst comparable types of data projector the worst supported resolution is 640 x 480 (VGA).

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Like most of the other recently released projectors, the Optoma W341 does not support Full HD projection.

It is worth considering alternative projectors which also support Full HD projection including the Acer P1502[plb_3878311_price] or the Benq W1090[plb_3888748_price].
