Some Optoma W303 owners who reviewed it mentioned that it was good quality. Pcmag.com said “The Optoma W303 $587.00 at Amazon provides a well-rounded package that includes good text quality” and rated the product 70 out of 100. Pcmag.com also wrote “The Optoma W303 provides good text quality”. Three years ago Itreviews.com mentioned “The Optoma W303 provides a well-rounded package that includes good text quality” but in spite of that they gave it a rating of 3 stars.

Good Brand

We calculated the average reviews for all Optoma multimedia projectors and also specifically for Optoma 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors and found that in both cases Optoma had good reviews compared to other manufacturers.

Good Connectivity

A few Optoma W303 reviewers who reviewed this projector thought it was good in terms of connectivity. Pcmag.com wrote on expert review site PC Mag “A nice range of connectivity choices, portabilit” in their review of this projector. Pcmag.com also wrote “A good set of connectivity choices, portability”.

Supports 3D Image Projection

Like most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been on the market for a comparable time to the W303, the Optoma W303 supports 3D image projection.

We compared this projector to all the other multimedia projectors which support 3D image projection and we think the Pro Z11000WNL, and the Pro Z11005NL both from Epson or the Optoma X303 which has better reviews is also worth considering.

The Optoma W303 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for more than two years also have a built-in speaker.

Alternative data projectors with a built-in speaker currently available which you might also want to consider include because of it's better review score, the Vivitek D556 ($643.99), the LG PA72G, or the Epson EB-Z9875U.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The Optoma W303 does not support Full HD projection, although this is within the context that most of the other data projectors that were released more than two years ago also do not support Full HD projection.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other projectors with a Full HD projection and we think the Vivitek D552, the Viewsonic PJD7820HD ($764.37), or the Epson EB-Z9875U which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The Optoma W303 does not support WiFi connectivity. Most of the other projectors of this spec and age also do not support WiFi connectivity.

We compared all the other projectors which also support WiFi connectivity to this projector and we think the EB Z9870U, or the EB-Z11000 both from Epson or the Optoma EX400 which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

This projector has so many features for the price. Had viewsonics in the past and optoma is just as good...

Awesome bright in 2d mode and bright even in 3D mode. probably about a 20 to 25 loss in brightness when in 3D mode. Love the fact that you can still make lots of changes to color and stuff when the pr
PAIN IN THE REAR to use the stupid remote. The remote works fine, it's just that fact that you have to have the remote perfectly lined up at the projector to use it
