The Optoma HD36 has a maximum resolution of 1080p (1920x1080). That's over two times the resolution of the most common native projector resolution of WXGA (1280x800).
A 1080p (1920x1080) native projector resolution is in fact the best resolution amongst all multimedia projectors that are a comparable age to the HD36.
Amongst comparable types of projector the worst resolution is SVGA (800x600).
