The Optoma H114 supports 3D image projection. Most of the other comparable spec projectors that are a similar age to the H114 also support 3D image projection.

There are a number of other projectors which support 3D image projection currently available that you might also want to look at including the Vivitek Qumi Q6 ($493.99), or the Optoma H183X ($455.73) which has better reviews.

Other multimedia projectors which also support 3D image projection that you might want to look at include the Optoma X340.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The Optoma H114 has a built-in speaker, as do most of the other comparable spec projectors that have been available for around the same time as the H114.

Other multimedia projectors with a built-in speaker currently available that you might also want to look at include the Vivitek Qumi Q6 ($493.99), or the Optoma H183X ($455.73) which has better reviews.

We compared this data projector to all the other projectors with a built-in speaker and we think the Optoma X340 is also worth considering.

1920 X 1080 (HD 1080) Graphics Resolution

The highest resolution supported by the Optoma H114 is 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080). That's over six times the resolution of the most frequently found graphics resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this data projector). In addition, this projector support graphics resolutions of 800 x 600 (SVGA), 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) and 1360 x 768 (WXGA) and 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). The best resolution of all projectors that were released around the same time as the H114 is 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) and the worst is 640 x 480 (VGA).

Very Light

Across all the new projectors the weights range from 2.7g to 28kg. At only 2.2 kilograms, the Optoma H114 is fairly light compared to most of the other latest data projectors.

4 Reasons Against

Poor 3D Picture Quality

One customer who purchased the product reckoned that it did not have a good 3D picture quality. Ryan Tech Reviews wrote on Amazon in October “This projector can also be used for watching television and supports 3D viewing, unfortunately I do not have the necessary equipment to use these features”.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

Most comparable spec projectors that came out in the last 12 months do not support WiFi connectivity. The Optoma H114 is no exception to this as it too does not support WiFi connectivity.

We compared all the other projectors which also support WiFi connectivity to this multimedia projector and we think the Vivitek Qumi Q6 ($493.99) is also worth considering.
