A few Optoma GT1070 reviewers said in their reviews that this projector was good quality. Last year Aw Chesham said in their review of this projector on Amazon “It produces a very high quality bright image”. David Smith mentioned in his review of this projector “I bought a 84" Optoma Projector Screen as well and I have to say the picture quality is awesome” . Depender B. said “It ran silently and the picture quality was” in their Optoma GT1070 review and rated it 4 stars.
Good High Def TV
A number of customers said that the product was good at displaying high definition TV. Jtt wrote in their review of this projector on Amazon “Excellent HD short throw projector”. One Optoma GT1070 owner who reviewed this projector concluded that it was heavy and bulky. A few weeks ago Xycenh wrote in their review on Amazon “I'm not a heavy user”. One Optoma GT1070 reviewer who purchased it concluded that it was a good weight. Bill Small World mentioned in his review of this projector “It works well and is sharp and light weight” .

Good Remote Control
Some Optoma GT1070 reviewers mentioned in their reviews that it had a good remote control. David Smith said “The remote is awesome the backlight is really bright (blue backlight” in his review of this projector. Good for Ceiling Mounting

Supports Full HD Projection
The Optoma GT1070 supports Full HD projection, which is unusual. Most of the other projectors that have been around for a similar time to the GT1070 do not support Full HD projection.
It may also be worth considering one of the other projectors which support Full HD projection currently available including the Optoma EH200ST ($926.99), or the Benq W7500 which has better reviews.
There are a number of other projectors which also support Full HD projection which you might want to consider including the Sony VPL-HW40ES.
Has a Built-In Speaker
The Optoma GT1070 has a built-in speaker, unlike most of the other projectors that have been available for a similar time to the GT1070 which do not have a built-in speaker.
Alternative projectors with a built-in speaker currently available which you might also want to look at include the Optoma W305ST which is cheaper; or the Optoma EH200ST ($926.99) which has better reviews.
We think you might also be interested in other multimedia projectors which also have a built-in speaker including the Benq GP30.
Supports 3D Image Projection
Like most of the other similar spec projectors that are a comparable age to the GT1070, the Optoma GT1070 supports 3D image projection.
It may also be worth also looking at one of the alternative data projectors which support 3D image projection currently available including the Optoma EH200ST ($926.99) which has better reviews; or the Optoma W305ST which is cheaper.
We compared this multimedia projector to all the other multimedia projectors with a 3D image projection and we think the Benq GP30 is also worth considering.
