13 Reasons For

Optoma Has Good Data Projector Reviews

Optoma has good average ratings for its 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors as well as across its entire multimedia projector range compared to other brands.

Supports Full HD Projection

Unlike most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a comparable age to the EH300 which do not support Full HD projection, the Optoma EH300 supports Full HD projection.

Other projectors which support Full HD projection currently available that you might also want to look at include a cheaper projector such as the Optoma ML1500[plb_2473687_price] or you might consider a better rated projector such as the Optoma X401[plb_1995677_price], or the Viewsonic PJD6683WS[plb_1514463_price].

Supports 3D Image Projection

The Optoma EH300 supports 3D image projection, as do most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for around the same time as the EH300.

We compared all the other projectors which support 3D image projection to this data projector and we think the W306[pl_1726310_price], and the ML1500[pl_2473687_price] both from Optoma which is cheaper; or the Viewsonic PJD6383S[plb_1514462_price] which has better reviews are also worth considering.

Has a Built-In Speaker

Like most of the other 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that came out more than two years ago, the Optoma EH300 has a built-in speaker.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the alternative multimedia projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including the W306[pl_1726310_price], or the ML1500[pl_2473687_price] both from Optoma which is cheaper; or the Viewsonic PJD6383S[plb_1514462_price] which has better reviews.

The Optoma EH300 has a maximum resolution of 1080p (1920x1080). That's over two times the resolution of the most frequently found native projector resolution of XGA (1024x768). Across all 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for more than two years the best resolution is WUXGA (1920x1200) and the worst is SVGA (800x600).

Chart Edit

1920 X 1200 (WUXGA) Graphics Resolution

The highest resolution supported by the Optoma EH300 is 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). This Optoma multimedia projector also support graphics resolutions of 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+), 1440 x 900 (WXGA+), 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080) and 640 x 480 (VGA) and 800 x 600 (SVGA).

This projector's resolution (1920 x 1200 (WUXGA)) is in fact the best supported resolution amongst all multimedia projectors of a similar type and age to the EH300.

The worst supported resolution amongst similar types of projector is 640 x 480 (VGA).
