Supports 3D Image Projection

The NEC PA522 supports 3D image projection, unlike most of the other 5000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that have been available for around the same time as the PA522 which do not support 3D image projection.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative projectors which support 3D image projection currently available including cheaper data projectors such as the NEC PA572.

Supports Full HD Projection

Unlike most of the other multimedia projectors of a comparable age and type to the PA522 which do not support Full HD projection, the NEC PA522 supports Full HD projection.

We compared this projector to all the other projectors which support Full HD projection and we think the NEC PA572 which is cheaper is also worth considering.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The NEC PA522 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other 5000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that have been around for around the same time as the PA522 also have a built-in speaker.

It may also be worth considering one of the other data projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including the Panasonic PT-EX800 ($3,099.00), or the NEC PA572 which is cheaper.

There are a number of alternative projectors which also have a built-in speaker that you might want to look at including the Panasonic PT-EW730 ($3,099.00).

4096 X 2160 Graphics Resolution

The highest resolution supported by the NEC PA522 is 4096 x 2160. That's over four times the resolution of a 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) data projector, which is the most common resolution supported by projectors of this type and age. This projector also support graphics resolutions of 2048 x 1080, 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) and 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA) and 640 x 480 (VGA).

A 4096 x 2160 graphics resolution is in fact the best supported resolution amongst all comparable spec projectors that were released around the same time as the PA522.

A 640 x 400 graphics resolution is the worst supported resolution amongst comparable types of projector.

The highest resolution of the NEC PA522 is WUXGA (1920x1200). That's over two times the resolution of a WXGA (1280x800) multimedia projector, which is the most common resolution.

A WUXGA (1920x1200) native projector resolution is in fact the best resolution across all multimedia projectors of a similar type and age to the PA522.
