The NEC NP-VE281X does not support 3D image projection. Most of the other projectors of a similar age and spec to the NP-VE281X also do not support 3D image projection.

We compared this projector to all the other multimedia projectors with a 3D image projection and we think the Optoma TW610STi ($717.99), or the Epson V11H475020 ($693.00) which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The NEC NP-VE281X does not support Full HD projection, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other comparable spec projectors that were launched more than two years ago also do not support Full HD projection.

It is worth considering other multimedia projectors which also support Full HD projection including the Infocus IN3118 which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The NEC NP-VE281X does not support WiFi connectivity, although it is worth noting that most of the other 3000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for around the same time as the NP-VE281X also do not support WiFi connectivity.

It is worth also looking at alternative projectors which also support WiFi connectivity including the NEC NP-UM330 ($1,640.31), or the Epson BrightLink 436Wi ($1,861.72).

I suppose the resolution could be higher - and this is a common stupid diatribe towards a less expensive projector. I knew what I was buying and it does what it said it could do

The reason i give this 3 eggs is because this projector does not allow you to change the bulb out when it burns out. You have to send it back to the manufacturer for bulb replacement. Not very conveni
