9 Reasons For

Good Brand

NEC has good average ratings for its 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors as well as across its entire projector range.

Supports Full HD Projection

The NP-PX602 supports Full HD projection, which is unusual. Most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that are a similar age to the NP-PX602 do not support Full HD projection.

Alternative data projectors which support Full HD projection currently available which you might want to consider include the NEC NP-M282 ($599.00) which has better reviews.

Quite Bright Projector Brightness

At 6,000 ANSI lumens, the NEC NP-PX602 has a fairly bright projector brightness compared to most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that are a comparable age to the NP-PX602. The average projector brightness of 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that were released around the same time as the NP-PX602 is 3,400 ANSI lumens.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative 6,000 ANSI lumens brightness multimedia projectors currently available including because of it's better review score, the Optoma X600 ($1,231.75).

If you want a brighter projector brightness then you might want to consider the PT-RW630 ($7,999.00) (6,500 ANSI lumens), or the PT-RZ670 ($11,499.00) (6,500 ANSI lumens) both from Panasonic.

WUXGA (1920x1200) Native Projector Resolution

The highest resolution of the NP-PX602 is WUXGA (1920x1200). That's over two times the resolution of a WXGA (1280x800) multimedia projector, which is the most common resolution.

This projector's resolution (WUXGA (1920x1200)) is in fact the best resolution amongst all data projectors of a comparable age and spec to the NP-PX602.

A SVGA (800x600) native projector resolution is the worst resolution across similar types of projector.

1920 X 1200 (WUXGA) Graphics Resolution

The NEC NP-PX602 supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). That's over seven times the resolution of the most common graphics resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this projector). This data projector also support graphics resolutions of 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) and 800 x 600 (SVGA).

This data projector's resolution (1920 x 1200 (WUXGA)) is in fact the best supported resolution across all comparable spec projectors that came out around the same time as the NP-PX602.

A 640 x 480 (VGA) graphics resolution is the worst supported resolution amongst similar types of data projector.
