The NEC M403X has a built-in speaker. Most of the other multimedia projectors of a similar spec and age to the M403X also have a built-in speaker.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative multimedia projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including the LG PF1500[plb_2938210_price] which has better reviews; or the Epson EB-536Wi[plb_2697341_price] which is cheaper.

Fairly Bright Projector Brightness

Similar spec projectors that have been on the market for a comparable time to the M403X have projector brightness of between 500 ANSI lumens and 8,200 ANSI lumens. The NEC M403X has a fairly bright projector brightness (4,000 ANSI lumens) compared to most of the other projectors that are a similar age to the M403X.
