Good Size

Two LG PW800 reviewers said in their reviews that this projector was lightweight. Pc Mag gave this projector a rating of 4 stars and wrote on PC Mag “Small and lightweight”. Techradar.com wrote on Techradar in October last year “The LG PW800 ($599.99, £385.24, AU$738.45) is small, lightweight and attractive”.

Good Connectivity

Two customers wrote in their reviews that the LG PW800 was wifi compatible. Expert review site Pcmag.com mentioned in their review “VGA ports, plus easy wireless connectivity to mobile devices” . In October last year Pc Mag scored it 4 stars and mentioned in their LG PW800 review on PC Mag “WiDi for easy wireless mirroring of cell-phone, tablet”.

Nice Design

Some customers agreed that this projector was a good design. Last year expert review site Pcmag.com said “The obvious way to think of the LG Compact Pebble Design Smart Minibeam Projector PW800 ($599.99) is as a projector with a built-in TV tuner.”. Pcmag.com also mentioned “The LG Compact Pebble Design Smart Minibeam Projector PW800 offers the usual HDMI”.

The LG PW800 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other similar spec data projectors that were launched more than a year ago also have a built-in speaker.

We compared all the other projectors with a built-in speaker to this projector and we think the Epson EH-TW5210[plb_3026694_price], and the Vivitek Q7 Lite[plb_2729937_price] which has better reviews is also worth considering.

Quite Dim Projector Brightness

Data projectors of a comparable age and spec to the PW800 have projector brightness of between 500 ANSI lumens and 8,200 ANSI lumens. When compared to other comparable spec multimedia projectors that have been around for around the same time as the PW800 that we have checked the projector brightness of, the LG PW800's projector brightness of only 800 ANSI lumens is one of the dimmest.

If you would prefer a data projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might want to consider the Epson EH-TW5210[plb_3026694_price] (2,200 ANSI lumens and higher rated); or the Epson EH-TW5300[plb_3024661_price] (2,200 ANSI lumens and cheaper).
