The LG BD460 does not support 3D image projection. Most of the other 5000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that came out around the same time as the BD460 also do not support 3D image projection.

It is worth considering other projectors which also support 3D image projection including the PowerLite W16 ($849.00), the Z8455WUNL, or the PowerLite W16SK ($1,885.16) all from Epson which also has a higher rating.
