Projectors that have been available for more than two years have projector brightness of between 300 ANSI lumens and 9,200 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 2,900 ANSI lumens. At only 1,200 ANSI lumen, the DLA-X95R has a quite dim projector brightness compared to most of the other multimedia projectors of a similar spec and age to the DLA-X95R.

Data projectors with a brighter projector brightness that might also be worth considering include the Epson EH-TW7200 (2,000 ANSI lumens) which also has a higher rating.

The X95 is hands down the best sub-£10k projector we've tested, so if you've got the cash and want the best, your bucks stop here. Just take a look the cheaper X75 before you do...
