15000:1 contrast ratio projectors produced by Infocus have good ratings on average compared to other brands. We also checked the reviews for all projectors (not just 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors) and found that Infocus also has good ratings across its entire range.

Supports 3D Image Projection

The Infocus IN112A supports 3D image projection, as do most of the other projectors that have been on the market for more than two years.

It may also be worth considering one of the alternative projectors which support 3D image projection currently available including the Infocus IN116A which has better reviews; or the Infocus IN122A ($339.99), or the Viewsonic PJD5132 ($349.99) which is cheaper.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The Infocus IN112A has a built-in speaker. Most of the other similar spec projectors that have been available for more than two years also have a built-in speaker.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other projectors with a built-in speaker and we think cheaper data projectors such as the Infocus IN122A ($339.99), the Viewsonic PJD5132 ($349.99), and the Vivitek D555 ($444.99) is also worth considering.

1920 X 1200 (WUXGA) Graphics Resolution

The Infocus IN112A supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). That's 20% more resolution than the most common graphics resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA).

This multimedia projector's resolution (1920 x 1200 (WUXGA)) is in fact the best supported resolution amongst all multimedia projectors of a comparable spec and age to the IN112A.

A 640 x 480 (VGA) graphics resolution is the worst supported resolution amongst similar types of multimedia projector.

Quite Quiet Noise Level

The Infocus IN112A has one of the quieter noise levels (only 30 decibels) amongst comparable spec projectors of this age. The quietest noise level of 15000:1 contrast ratio projectors that came out around the same time as the IN112A is 26dB and the loudest is 40dB.

It may also be worth considering one of the alternative 30dB noise level multimedia projectors currently available including because of it's better review score, the Infocus IN116A.

Other projectors with a louder noise level that you might want to look at include the Viewsonic PJD5132 ($349.99) (32dB) which is also cheaper.
