Epson is one of the better rated projector manufacturers according to average reviews from experts and users, and Epson also has good reviews for its 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors.

Like most of the other similar spec projectors that have been on the market for more than two years, the PowerLite 965 has a built-in speaker.

1600 X 1200 (UXGA) Graphics Resolution

The PowerLite 965 supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) projector, which is the most frequently found resolution supported by multimedia projectors of a comparable spec and age to the PowerLite 965. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this projector. The PowerLite 965 has a quite loud noise level (37 decibels) compared to most of the other 10000:1 contrast ratio multimedia projectors that have been available for a similar time to the PowerLite 965.

We compared this data projector to all the other 37dB noise level data projectors and we think the Epson EB-W18 which has better reviews is also worth considering.
