We compared this projector to all the other projectors which support Full HD projection and we think because of it's better review score, the Benq W7000+ ($5,907.74), the Optoma EH501 ($2,541.53), and the Panasonic PT-AE8000U ($1,699.00) is also worth considering.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

Most multimedia projectors of a similar age and type to the PowerLite 4855WU do not support WiFi connectivity. The PowerLite 4855WU is no exception to this as it too does not support WiFi connectivity.

There are a number of alternative data projectors which also support WiFi connectivity which you might want to look at including the Elmo BOXi MP-350 ($1,216.03), the Vivitek Qumi Q7, or the Benq GP20.

A solid install projector, it comes with a nice cowling that goes over the back concealing the cables, connectors and keypad. Menus are a bit confusing but comprehensive. Great geometry correction... Read more…
